Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 28, 2026. ChartedSelf is operated by REPLACE ME LLC ("we") and is built on data minimalism. This page describes exactly what we process and why.
Birth data
Your birth date, time, and place are sent to our server once per computation to calculate your chart, processed transiently, and returned to your browser. They are stored in your browser's localStorage — not in a server database. We keep no account of you and no profile.
If you buy a reading
When you purchase, your chart data and the generated reading are stored under a random, unguessable identifier so your report link keeps working. This record contains no name and no email. Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor — your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers, and Stripe processes them under its own privacy policy. From Stripe we receive only order metadata (order ID, and the email address you gave at checkout, used to send you your reading link).
If you choose to save your chart by email, your address goes to our email service provider with your explicit consent, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. We use your email to deliver your reading link and, if you opted in, a short educational series. We do not sell or share it.
What we don't do
- No advertising pixels, no remarketing audiences, no cross-site tracking.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No server-side database of birth data or user profiles.
Analytics
We measure aggregate, privacy-preserving page statistics (page loads, purchases) without building individual profiles.
Retention & deletion
Purchased readings are retained so your link keeps working, and are deleted 90 days after generation unless you ask us to keep or remove them earlier. Download the PDF from your reading if you want a permanent copy. To delete anything associated with your order sooner, email [email protected] with your order ID.
